all about quality management

all about quality management;
translate the future needs into measureable characteristics

Mentioning all about total quality management is a much broader aspect than a definition, it has gradually evolved over time. According to experts on the subject, they refer to it as "Adequate for the use or purpose", or "Translate the future needs of users into measurable characteristics".

In this section we will enunciate in general, such as an advanced lean training, with tools such as the 5s in total quality management and others typical of the lean environment, they help to understand how to manage quality.

Quality seeks to satisfy the needs and expectations of customers with respect to the functionality, design, reliability, durability and price of the product or service.

But... how to manage quality?

One of the elements to consider is that in contrast to previous years, where quality was perceived by what the companies or people themselves determined it was necessary to satisfy the product itself, and in that way, it elaborated, however today quality comes determined by the customer. It is the client who indicates those aspects on which a product or service must be developed.

Nowadays the quality is determined by the customer.

Is the customer who indicates those aspects on which a product or service should be developed. As a result of this the implication of the methodologies with an advanced lean training, allow to solve those contemporary issues in quality management. In the understanding of those elements that don´t add value, act with the processes less effective, and turn the operation more expensive.

The total quality management can be supported involving lean tools, six sigma, theory of constraints and others in order to be able to perceive how the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are being achieved or in counterpart that is required to achieve them, as well as it can be managed by regulations of an administrative nature supported and endorsed by  such as ISO standards, said regulations applied in conjunction with elements that you will obtain with the advanced lean training, will influence the achievement of the objectives set by your organization.

ISO 9001 is the standard model for the Quality Management System (QMS).

The most current version, which is the one that came into effect in 2015, addresses the new regulatory requirements to improve the previous model.

The QMS standards are applied worldwide, and their application is supervised by the ISO Technical Committee. The committee decides when to update the standards and establishes modifications approximately every three years.
